If your reading this then your probably in need of some advice on how to find or choose a web developer for your website or web application. Finding a web developer is easier than choosing one of course but finding quality developers is your first task. Before you start to look over the candidates you should think about what your budget is for your project. Budget is a key factor in deciding who to go with. Ask as many questions as possible about each requirement and how they may go about handling them. Finally make sure you have a contract in place that states price, requirements, time-line, and anything else you may want to stipulate in the contract. You can never be too safe. Note that when paying a web developer they are usually going to ask for 50% deposit on the project to get started. I’m always interested in what people think more frequent spider visits actually do to help you. The spider visits, sucks up some bandwidth, finds all the pages the same as they were the last time she visited, and goes on to the next site. How do you think this affects your website? The problem, as I see it, is that people read info from other sites and then get it mixed up in their heads. They hear that the spiders will visit more popular sites, more often, and think that somehow the spidering MAKES their site more popular. If you are constantly changing your pages to add fresh content, the spiders will naturally visit more often because they don’t want outdated pages in their index. This happens as well if you are constantly tweaking keyword density or changing the page structure or other things that people think they can do to affect their rankings. But all that “tweaking” can lead to incorrect cause-and-effect conclusions. In the meantime, who’s monitoring the sales? Who is tweaking the copy to sell more if all you are ever doing is worrying about rankings? Does anyone know what happens when a searcher actually reaches their site? I suspect most people don’t know why they want spiders visiting more often; they just think it’s a good sign. Or possibly they think the spiders give them a rankings boost every time they visit… I don’t know. Why else are people so concerned about spider visits? Idea is to have fresh content on your page to encourage spider visits and if your page is in the index already and you haven’t changed it, it shouldn’t matter when next spider visit is. It’s not about tricking the engines into thinking your content is fresh. If you really want the spiders to visit often, for whatever reason, then you actually need REAL fresh content. I think the only sensible reason to hope for frequent spidering of a site that isn’t updated often is the desire for the spiders to catch new content as soon as possible after it’s created. |

1. Have compelling content: always make sure you are writing for real people, not just for the search engine spiders. the other reason is nothing more than it will give you a following, people will recommend you to friends and will even search for you through google and the like, this again will get the se’s looking for content written you , oh lastly, choose a pen name that is uniqueso that there is more chance of you and your content being found. This has two benefits, it gives your visitors something that they will want to read, the se (atleast google) knows how long people stay on your site and if they stay a read a good lengthy article of post, this will give you better ranking and will even give you better prices for ebery click you get should you be using adsense on that page. Make sure you update your content frequently (weekly at a minimum and if possible, daily). No one wants to go to a site that contains old information. 2. Start a blog as it is the easiest way to get links (Wordpress is the way to go) Google is the 10,000lb Gorilla. And Google has loved Blogs for quite some time. Need I say more?? 3. Smart marketing; with WordPress you have SEO covered Default WP is good at SEO but specific plug-ins and techniques make it great. I am convinced that Wordpress will maintain a leadership role in the blogosphere for a while to come. Seems that folks who stick with TypePad, etc. do so for niche reasons that I don’t quite understand. If you do go with WP, then make sure you get All in One SEO Pack |

DO IT! 1) Use your target keywords in your Title or the page 2) Use unique keywords in each page, No need to load up each page with 50 same keywords. It’s rather more useful using 4-5 keywords per page and increase keyword density in the content. 3) Always try to link exchange with website that has relative content. Relative is the key here. 4) If you believe your content is not being picked up by web crawlers then check for this weekly on sites like www.websitegrader.com. Keep in mind that Internet has nearly 3 million + search engines and 500k directories. Sometimes they are working so hard, that they simply might just miss your site. 5) Write Original Quality relative content, articles and post/link them to different sites. 6) Spent 20 minutes every day improving your website instead of checking your rankings. Your rankings will not change whether you look or not every day. Time is better spent on improving your website instead of watching it flutter up and down the SERPs. 7) Try to manage entire site content from your homepage. (Give links and Categories from homepage and such) Change your links like Title. For Example (www.xyz.com/page_4.html -> www.xyz.com/search-engine-optimization.html) Meaningful page titles. 9) Daily follow your target keyword. Understand why your competitor is having success at particular keyword and how their site is designed. SEO Don’ts 1) Don’t take back links from sites which has not relative content with yours. Search Engine Optimization, or SEO is the driving force keeping web space domains alive. Every website today has the aim of monetizing their content thus adhering to the SEO guidelines is imperative. Besides that, SEM is always a combination of the very technical and marketing, and unfortunately, those 2 worlds hardly ever fit in one brain. In rare cases there are people that understand a bit of both worlds and in even rarer cases they are in the right position in a company to make the 2 worlds work together.
